On my 2001 D-Cab several years ago I used a spacer lift that did not require a spring compressor. If I remember right it sat on top. I have checked Toytec, Revtec, and Readybuild and none of them are that way. Can someone refresh my memory please?
I just bought a 04 D-Cab and want to go back with the same lift. I do nothing but street ride and actually barely due that since my commute is so short so its all about appearance to me. Thanks in advance. On the 01 I had a 2 inch body and the spacer running 33X1250 and want to have the same stance. Your help is appreciated.

Same thing I would imagine. Buy the spacer, remove the coil assembly, place spacer on top of coil and re-assemble.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Some require you to swap your top plate studs so that they are long enough to incorporate the new spacer.

I probably wasn't clear in what I was saying which is normal for me. Some of the kits require a spring compressor. There is one if I remember correctly that does not require a compressor. Which kit DOES NOT require a compressor?
