How can you tell what oil...

    How can you tell what oil was put in your Toyota from the factory. I was told that my truck came from the factory with 0-20w synthetic from port.:confused:

    5W30 dino only the 4 cylinder come with 0W20 syn
    I'm sure someone at the dealer told you that - what gets me they told me so much wrong stuff that I refused to go there because they don't even know their cars/trucks and that's the only job they have...to know a few facts lol

    Or you could just change your oil to your preferance and then you wont have to worry about if its that big of a concern
    just a thought

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Well, they didn't change the oil at the port. Whatever it has it came from the plant.

    But 0-20w syn was for the 4 cylinder as others have said.

    But truthfully, it doesn't matter what it came with........... what matters is how you will be using the truck.
