would the air springs break if the dealer lifts the truck up by the frame with their 2 post lift?

Do you mean air shocks or air bags?

I don't see how it would matter for either. I lift my truck all the time, the springs only allow the wheels to drop a short difference.

Ha, ha, I just remembered my sig pic is of my truck with the wheels just off the ground. You can see how far the wheels drop when on a lift.

The bags can be damaged by over extension. If you have cups instead of the regular style mounts that will alleviate the problem, if not there is the potential for damage.

Deflate the bags before lifting, as per Firestone's instruction. The risk with the bags inflated to higher pressure is that the shock and mounts will not be strong enough to limit extension.

I've decided to order the daystar cradle mounts with it so I don't have to worry about suspension travel. Thanks all.
