A few weeks ago, I had a new windshield installed. Last week after a bath, there was water on the passenger floor. I took off the glove box and found the cabin filter soaked.

Had the glass shop do a compression test, and it wasn't the windshield. Pulled off the plastic shroud to expose the big hole where the fresh air vent is, and figured the water had come thru there while I had the fresh air vents on during the wash.

Today, I made sure to turn off the fan and close the vents, and water still made it in. I'm thinking of welding on a piece of metal to cover that intake, because water can drop down from the windshield all day long and constantly get in there.

Anyone else having this problem, or have a suggestion on a fix? I'll post pictures soon. Thanks

Thank you, I had searched with no results. The flashing is exactly what I was thinking. The dealer said just stop washing it every two days, and it won't fill up with water. Dipshits. I like a clean truck!
