New from Iowa

Hi all, my name is Troy. I have been lurking here for awhile now getting useful info on small projects for the truck. I am welder by trade and have been enjoying a lot use with my mini. I have a 2008 4cyl, 5 speed, reg cab. I have done a few cosmetic things like painting the wheels, grille, and putting in some black faced headlight buckets. I have had this truck now for about 2 years and it has served well for a daily driver as well as hauling steel, motorcycles, and an occasional trailer. I still need to install my Curt hitch receiver as pulling a 10ft enclosed 200 miles was a little sketchy

I plan to make full utilization of the deck rail system to fabricate some new load securement devices in the future.

I also have built a cat back exhaust for my truck using most of the stock pipe, dog leg and an aftermarket muffler.
