So i just got my in cab winch switches from OTRATTW today and the IN/OUT switch is a little more complex than i thought. I'm pretty confident that i can wire the on/off switch but im not sure about this other one. looking at the remote from the winch i only see three wires and im assuming that there is power and 2 grounds and which ever way i ground the circuit controls whether the winch goes in or out. So, when i see the OTRATTW switch that has 6 connections (excluding the LEDs pos/neg) im confused as to where all these wires are going to be coming from. any help would be much appreciated.

here are some pictures that might help

What I can tell you for certain is ignore pin 7, 8, 9 and 10, they are independent pins for the lights on the switch. Focus on 1 thru 6 first, then deal with how you want the LEDs to operate. This next part is speculation and should be confirmed using a volt meter. It looks like you only need pins 1, 2 and 3, 4, 5 and 6 are just redundant and could be capped off. On the original switch, figure out which one is power into the switch, relocate that to pin 2. Then pins 1 and 3 are the outgoing power to control power in or out. Again, confirm all of this with a volt meter or test light. If you don't have one, buy one as you should have one handy before doing any wiring in my opinion.

This what i thought, but wasnt sure. I thought that it was possiboe that this switch also included on/off for the winch as well and that is where the extra ports were coming from im going to try it just by bypassing them and see what happens
