hi, i have a 2003 taco with 2.7L and have recently had some misfire on cylinder 1. i have replaced the coil pack, spark plugs (last summer), cleaned the fuel injectors myself and had them cleaned by a mechanic. yet it still misfires in cylinder 1.

it misfires while idling for a short period, while cruising at a constant speed, but when accelerating it stops. the wiring on the coil pack and fuel injector both have power. it gives me a P301 code. any suggestions?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Fuel pump going bad? Injector one is the last one on the fuel rail and poor fuel pressure would certainly cause it to be a problem.

Try swapping your injectors around and see if the problem moves. Make sure to have new injector seals on hand as yours are probably gonna fail when your remove the injectors to swap em.

    Welcome to TW :)

swap the coils to see if its the coil. comp check, swap injector, but maybe have your fuel rail inspected before that to ensure your fuel rail isnt clogged.
