    Hello,
Just joined Tacoma World but I have owned Toyota 4x4 trucks for a good portion of my life. I started with a 1990 4x4 Truck which was my daily driver for 10 years. Then I bought a 2002 4cyl 4x4 Tacoma which was my daily driver up until a month ago, when I bought a 2015 Tacoma TRD 6cyl 4X4 Truck. All were excellent trucks that got me through many snowstorms and never let me down. They were all basically stock except for tires.

Similar situation here. My father-in-law sold me his 75 2wd toyota, which worked fine for the desert camping we did when were young and living in SoCal. We moved to Idaho in '79 and after going through a Jeep Cherokee, Dodge, and Ford pickups, bought a new 1997 4x4 LX which turned out to be the best vehicle we've ever owned. It's still in the family running a strong as ever after moves to Montana and now NC. It's moving back to Idaho with my youngest son now and he expects it to last for a long time out there.

We liked that Tacoma so much that we recently got a 2015 Tacoma 4x4 to replace our trusted '97, which I am sure I will be giving to one of my grand-kids one day.
