The 2016 Tacoma Access Cab will have a short bed option?

At 2:45 of this video, the Toyota rep said, "The Access Cab will have a choice of a five foot bed, or a six foot bed."

Betting dollars to pesos he's confusing "access cab" and "double cab" to mean the same thing.

 

No, at 2:40 of the video, he said "The double cab will have a standard five foot bed."

 

sweet! a new argument about this er um '3rd gen' taco. would sure be awesome if there is a 5ft bed on the access cab.

 

This has already been well discussed. Dude talking simply made a mistake so... No.

 

OICU812- Do you have the link that talked about the mistake that Toyota made on this?

 

It's buried in the gazillion threads in gen 3 section here and was mentioned many times. Trust me it was an admitted mistake, if memory serves correct it was Road and Track or Motor Authourity that went back to ask the Toyota rep for clarification. The Long bed 100% will be available as well for double cab to note as that's their big seller out of all of them.
