Lately I've seen threads about trading in '14's for '15's cause you wanted magnetic gray. Then I think of the tacoma sx's I still see on the road

Yup, read it. It had no meaning , so went to the picture for an explanation. I tried to interpret that into words.

 

...haha...I must've been drunk when I posted this. Barely remember writing it.

My point at the time was...there was a series of threads on the 2nd gen forum about people wanting to trade their 2014 Tacoma for a 2015 Tacoma (and taking a bath on it) because they got black and they (in retrospect) really wished they would've purchased something in Metallic Gray.

...I was trying to make a statement about people who are willing to add 10k to the loan of a solid truck that will last 20 years, just because the shade of color is slightly off.

I articulated it about as well as 3 year old on acid....but it was meant to be sandwiched in a series of other posts...obviously that fell flat.

...and..I wasn't tailgating....that was a red light. I snapped a pic 'cause 20 year old Tacomas give me hope (since mine is paid off with 90k miles on it).
