Hey guys, my first official "mod" I guess you could say was removing the bug deflector on the front of my truck. I guess it doesn't really classify as a mod since it was just unscrewing 6 screws and pulling the thing off.

Here's my before and after pics, I think it looks better without the deflector:

So, the next thing I'll be doing is installing the single din sony radio I bought from a guy on these forums (thanks TW!), and after that I really want to grab some touch up paint and fill in the various scratches and knicks that come with a newly bought preowned vehicle. What I really need is a good how-to on the touch up paint process. Can you fine taco people help me?

I know those deflectors serve a purpose but they are ugly as hell IMO. Good move.

I had put one on and then taken it off because I like the way it looks with out it. It's up for sale if any one is interested. I have a pic of it in my photo gallery. :D

in my experience, their function is to direct rocks away from my paint right into my windshield.

Which here in Fl gets you a free windshield!

Much cheaper than a hood repaint!

I like the look better w/o it too. But it does have function.......... the front of my '04 Highlander is so nicked up I wish I'd put one on it.
