Hello fellow Tacoma World members. I thought I would post a clip of the results of my participation and enthusiasm for off-road motorcycling that has encompassed most of my life. At 11 years old, from the beginnings on a Honda SL70, through the ranks of the mighty Elsinores and up to modern bikes, it has been a great ride (No pun intended)!

Way back in the early 70's I had opportunities to meet some of the greatest riders in early American motocross. Today, some of them are my best friends. We continue to meet as much as we can each year, and now participate actively in vintage motocross racing. We have formed a small motocross team with riders from California, Arizona and Texas...our team is Sabatini Racing and we are participating in the biggest national vintage race in North America....Diamond Don's Classic.

Hope you enjoy the video of a gift I received from none other than Marty Tripes....winner of the two, very first Supercross races:

A little of this and a little of that.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing the video.

There's so much fun to be had on a dirt bike. I've been riding since I was 7.

    Did you say Horse power?
I'm with ya. I started at 9 with a Kawa 90 that had both street and dirt gears. I was jealous of the guys that had Pentons and Hodakas. My first race bike as a Honda 125 Elsinore and later got one of the first Yamaha monoshockers.

My current bike is a KTM 400 MXC that I dual-sported for when my buddies decide that the rest of the trail is 2 miles down the street...LOL. (Almost got a ticket once riding on the street through Death Valley)

    Great memories!! Thanks for that.
