Looks like you found them. That was the prototype you see in those pictures. the last one you posted is the new version. Laser cut and bent out of 3/16's plate. We also eliminated the shims and one of the holes.

Though I never had and issues with that setup, we cut it all off to fab up a better stronger version.

Yours and Homers I believe were shipped today :D

since i seem to be in the dark ages when it comes to this modification....

for the "not yet" educated... at what point does this modification become necessary?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I am guessing somewhere around the 285+ threshold...

I should also probably get in line since i wont be able to resist after watching skygear rock this setup.

Mine will be sitting for a couple months. Just until they do the frame on my truck. Then it will be back to mods. Most of my wiring and such I like to run through the frame. I know I am going to have to rip out and re route all the goodies I have on the truck already under neath. Ordering more connectors so I can remove things easier.

I would say once you hit the 33"- 32.5" area where you have to do the cab mount chop CMC. People have said in the past that it would be easier to just cut it off and relocate it instead of cutting, checking, cutting more, checking again, cutting more, then once you check again, weld it back closed.

Easier to just cut it off make a couple measurements, then weld a new plate on either side.

Price is on point right now and so is the availability. You never know when and if these or any other mod will become available again. This one took over a year to fruition. From what I understand, there is only a handful available NOW> Get them while they are available if you are even considering this in the future. I could see them charging more, but the price is reasonable right now.
