Feeler: Trade my retrofit for your OEM

As of now I have someone to trade with but let me know if you are interested in case it falls throughI have a few month old mini h1 retrofit with all parts purchased from TRS. The lenses could be more clear, the black rattle can paint job is cracking in one spot but nobody has noticed until I told them and the cutoff isn't perfectly straight mainly on the left but doesn't affect anything except my OCD about that kind of stuff. It was my first retrofit and I'd like to redo it but not at the cost of new headlamp assemblies and projectors. All you would have to buy is the harness and ballasts and you would be ready to go. If someone in NorCal or someone willing to drive from SoCal we can swap them out

I have a brand new TRS wire harness if whomever buys these lights wants it. I bought it for a retrofit on my runner and forgot that the 4Runner doesn't have the same harness.

 

I have a 9006 harness if anyone needs that. Not sure what brands that works with

There is nothing to color match on the headlights. They are all the same

is it possible to strip the black off and redo it?

 

I thought about that. It's just spray paint so I'm sure it could but you could only do that section. I'm guessing if I tried to remove the projector and start fresh it would damage the reflector bowl. I considered that because of I'm going to redo it I'm going with the fx-r which would require cutting anyways. For me the work it probably the same either way but if I can just trade and someone can get a retrofit they are ok with then that is good for both of us

Do both haylos work? How much would the wireing and whatever els need cost approximately. Just a ball park... I'm very intrested and I live in Sacramento. My head lights are from a 2014 so they are in amazing condition.

 

About $110 for the harness and $35 for the ballast. If I order the fx-r full kit with the group by op code I think I could get you both for about $90. Both halos work fine. Projectors have a warranty through 11/17 and halos through 11/19 through TRS. I noticed yesterday the drivers side has some moisture but when the assembly comes out we can add more sealant. i don't know if it's coming from the seal on the housing or a gap where the wiring goes through the boot

That's fine with me and do you know how long it would take to get the wireing and light. I would need them to work same day as we swap
