My 2 cents for what its worth...go with the Diehard or Odyssey over the optima every time. There was a time when Optimas were good batteriers but it seems like they are hit or miss at this time. Some have good luck with them and others not so much.

@Madmtn...how do you have your fridge wired up?

Right now I have a BlueSea 6 circuit aux fuse block running directly off battery. It came with a 15amp fuse installed. I ran a line back to the bed from that fuse and hooked up a cigarette lighter outlet in the bed.

Once I get an Aux battery installed, the fuse block will move over to that battery, the main batt will be protected with a relay like most setups and I'll keep the fridge set to Lo protect so I won't have to worry about it turning off.

Due to budget constraints, I plan on starting off with a Stinger, or Pac-Pac 200amp dual battery relay, and buying the Nat. Luna Dual battery monitoring alarm from you to keep an eye on things, and later upgrade the relay.

I bought a 2014 Audi A4 for a daily driver. My truck isn't exactly posted for sale. However, if someone handed me $30k it would be hard to turn it down....

looks like even Amazon is selling at the price advertised for this group buy now. anyone know whether another group buy for these (with deeper discounts) could be possible?

^^^ what this guy said. I want a deal on an ARB fridge and want to participate in this GB, but Amazon is offering the 50 quart for $877 with free 2 day shipping. Maybe we can get a decent black friday price?

Black Friday prices aren't a bad idea. I'll have to scour the inter webs for that one. I doubt anyone could organize a group buy that quickly

That's an awesome fit. I may have to pick one up - I have a 300XL now.

For those folks asking about pricing on fridges, the pricing listed in this thread is the lowest allowable advertised price on ARB fridges. For group buy pricing you have to contact us directly for a quote. Let me know if I can price a fridge for you. Send me a PM, email, or give us a call.

    Thanks!

Are you able to offer the covers as well? Thinking of adding one to our 50 qt to minimize abuse in the bed of the truck.
