    Drove 2 hours home last night from the mountain.. up and down mountain passes.. with a constant speed of 85+.. :eek: the truck ran beautifully.. couldn't be happier.

    Not sure I have the *clunk* but I got some foreplay going on. Feels like the front end is floating a little bit and of course some vibes but I thought that was tire. I was thinking my ball joints or something might be bad. I was gonna have my buddy check them when he gets time. :notsure: Guess it can't hurt to try it. God knows I have a small fortune in zip ties!!!

    Josh, what was the issue with the steering before? Mine has felt a little floaty since I installed the 5100s, not sure how to describe it.. almost a little loose at highway speed.

    for me.. it was when hitting small bumps on the freeway, through intersections, etc.. it made the steering wheel feel a little sloppy/loose in my hands. now.. it feels solid.

    all the fix does is remove the slack in the intermediate shaft of the steering column. try it out. it takes 5 minutes and costs a ziptie. for me... it worked wonders and the truck seriously feels rock solid now..

    You know....if it was "father" nature it would rain titties and beer for a half hour so we could collect bewbs and fill up pitchers, buckets, drift boat, what have you with beer, then it'd be sunny for the rest of the day so we could play with said titties and Beer!!!! Hate this wintry bitch:mad:

    a small flat head, and a razor blade. pry the emblem up carefully, and cut through the soft plastic tabs underneath it that hold it to the steering wheel.
