    Not sure, but I have had the Firestones for about 10 years and love them! No issues at all.....02 Tundra with Firestone Ride-rites and Daystar cups.

    Thanks for the input. I am ordering firestone ride rites and the daystar cups. Does it lift the back higher or does it stay the same height?

    If you run them with the minimum 5psi of air it does very little to ride height...raise the pressure and the height will go up (so will the stiffness of the ride). On my Tundra I usually add air only for extra weight....guess at what I think I might need and then adjust it if required when loaded....allows me to run the truck near stock height regardless of the load.

    I think the maximum recommended is 100 psi. But I think I read one post here from one guy who has them aired to 125. That being said, It also appears that most run them 5 to 10 with no load, and somewhere between 25 and 40 with a heavy load. These are numbers I just recollect from reading, it ain't necessarily accurate !!

    i had these airbags installed on my 2007 Ranger to supplement the crappy springs. even at the lowest 5 psi setting, the truck rode like an empty dump truck. i then had to load 200 pounds of sand in it to keep the back end down and comfortable when doing normal highway driving. (granted the rear end no longer sagged...) At the min 5psi setting it will raise the back end slightly, at least that was my experience.

    unless you're carrying weight, most of the time (cap?), be ready for a big increase in stiffness even when they are aired down.

    My Firestone bags have had a slight leak in driver side bag since I installed them. I tried re cutting the two ends of the air lines. Thinking of replacing lines or maybe swap them at the air nozzle and see if it's the line or bag. Any ideas?

    did you try tightening the core of the schrader valve? mine leaked, until i tightened the core, that fixed them.

    yup, the needle. any local auto parts store will have the tool needed to tighten / remove the core. just back yours out then tighten it back up. it was a slow leak for me, it would take about 4-7 days to leak out. i checked every fitting with soap n water and couldnt find it, was chasing my tail. once i did this mine stopped leaking.
