That's weird, is your AC off? And do you have the air recirculating?

I've never taken my glove box out to look. I just assumed that my 2005 didn't have one. If I understand this right, I DON'T have a filter but I DO have the housing for one.

I'll order a OEM filter and try it.

Thanks for the help and advice!

The filter will have almost no impact on odors when you are drawing outside air. Its a debris filter, not an odor filter.

Just push the recirc button and you'll stop drawing outside air.

If you are trying to heat or cool the car, recirc is the most efficient anyway.

If you are trying to bring fresh air into the car, outside air is the way, although it will be slightly warmed just from being in the vicinity of the heater core in it's travels. But you will get the odors.

Pretend you are driving a convertible, riding a bike, or walking, and enjoy!

Vape pipe of your favorite flavor will also make it smell good. Doesn't linger either.

Recirc button like others have said will be the ticket in that situation. Cabin air filter from the factory just blocks dust and debris. Speaking of... I've got 13k on mine. Probably time for a change.

I got the same issue. Recirc is the only thing that stops it (mostly).

Didn't know the 05's didn't have a filter. Guess I'm going to buy one now.

I pulled mine out at 15k on the 2011 and it looked like shit. I don't drive dirty roads that often either. They are cheap though so no biggie.
