I have a 2015 Tacoma with a 3in Rough Country lift. I have 285/70/17 (33s) tires. I'm wanting more lift but I'm not wanting to pay almost $2000 for the 6in lft. Would a body lift be good? Or is there anything else I could do?

talk to the hawaii guys.... they seem to know a thing or two about uselessly jacking their truck up.

IMO stick with ~ a 3 inch lift, better upper control arms, quality ICON/KING/SWAY AWAY shocks and a quality leaf pack in the rear.

Anthony did a 1" body lift on his rig on top of a 3" suspension lift , looks good and helped him clear his 35's

Isn't it just a spacer and a bolt? How does it not it not shift, and bend the bolt at all?

The body is held to the frame with spacers and bolts on your truck too

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Body lifts IMO look like ass, they expose too much frame and too much gap under the tailgate. Brake lines become too short, you may have a few wires that become short, and in the old days your shifter got sucked down into the console .... but not on today's cables shifters.

I once thought tacoma owners were some what smart and classy with their mods. apparently some chevy/dodge/nissan owners have made their way over.

I couldn't agree with you more. I will say that I haven't really seen any blocked taco's, but you really need to watch out for the 90's - 2015 Chevy's around here. Lofted Chevy bumpers knocking out the back window of burbs like a meth head after his next fix.

The dealer down the street from me has no less than 30 block lifted late model trucks (mostly Dodge and Chevy) on his lot. I'll have to get a photo of the lifted bling some day. However; The idiots eat that crap up and his inventory moves!
