Anyone know how to find the code then read the code that tells me what my differential gear ratio should be??

I just bought the thing and the gears seem like 20% or so higher than they were stock. The speedometer is saying 52 at 60 or so, and I drove approx 5 miles and the odometer said 4.0... I have stock tires on it, 245/75-16's I can't get into 5th gear unless I am doing 70+ real mph. It is a stick.

I don't know where ratio code is on the sticker, but I know the sticker is, inside the door frame/door jam. That "is" where the ratio code is isn't it?

I need to know so I can figure out what the ratio is that is in there and see if it is stock or not. If I had say 3:55 gear ratio, how could I tell if those gears are in there without taking it apart??

    Thanks,
    Bob

4 bangers get 4.10 gears, everything else is 3.73. Easiest way to tell is jack your tire(s) up depending if you have an open diff or locked

Posi: Jack both wheels off the ground. Turn one wheel 1 complete turn.

Count the turns on the drive shaft.

Non-posi: Jack one wheel off the ground. Turn the wheel 2 complete turns.

Count the turns on the drive shaft.

Attached is a photo of my DS door jam sticker that shows the axle code.
For my 1st gen, the code (B04A) is seen in the lower right portion.
