2015 Tacoma 5 lug/up grades

have a 2015 Tacoma 5 lug, stock suspension. is it really a benefit to put on k&n air filter and magnaflow muffler?

besides the cool factor/sound! what are the benefits........mileage? power?

 

You'll get no gain from the filter...at least not one you can feel. But it is nice to never buy another filter as long as you own your truck. That's the only reason I have an aFe Pro-Dry. I think "Tooter" has measured some gains with the right type of exhaust. Search for his posts.

 

You'll get better MPG and more acceleration because of a lighter wallet.

Any ad you read for bolt ons that says 'up to x gain' means the potential gain starts at 0. And often stays right there.
