Spark plug probleme

    I own a 03 tacoma just changed spark plugs yesterday and one plug was seized up what should i do next

    spray PB blaster or Aerokroil down the hole....wait for 5-10 minutes. If that doesn't help...you'll want to spray it for several times a day....for several days.

    That and warming up the truck also. When you put in the new plugs, use some nickel anti-seize (for aluminum heads) to make sure it does not happen again, unless it was put in with crossed threads, that opens up another can of worms.

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
    if you tighten plugs on a warm engine, when you later want to remove them, if the engine is cold it grips it even tighter so I find removing plugs is best done with a "luke warm" engine so its not hot but not cold, just in the middle so its warm but not too hot to touch things. for me that's waiting 10 minutes after turning off a warmed up engine and definitely use anti-seize on the plug threads every time.

    I had a similar thing happen on my O2 sensors (one seized). It took about 4 hours of PB, heat/cooling and lots of elbow grease. But in the end, it eventually came free.
