I am new here, this place is awesome and I'm sure this has been asked before, but....I'm thinking of putting my amp in the large storage compartment behind the 2nd row seats. I was a little worried about it overheating. Its not a huge amp and would fit. 900 watts peak, 450 rms. I would put it under the seat but it looks like there are heat vents there and wont fit. Anyone have any experience/pictures/advice on what to do?

Also I'm going to install a Line Out Converter as well. I did a stereo install, sub, and amp on my 02 Tacoma, but I'm pretty nervous about doing something I have not done before on my brand new truck. Which speakers do I tap into? and what color are the leads? And whats the best way to tap into those wires? Any videos or pictures would be awesome! And how hard is Stereo removal? Geez, I'm needy.

    Thanks guys!

Just got my 2015 double cab looking for about the same setup. I want to try and use the correct wiring harnesses to not splice the existing wiring.

tail gate lock, rear view mirror bracket, hood hinge brackets, and the list grows.
Check out Crutchfield on line. They have harnesses that you can research, and buy from them or elsewhere. I ordered everything from them, they have customer service second to none!
