Finally swapped out the uncomfortable buckets out of my 2002 DC. I have been casually looking for donors for some time and finally found a set of leather seats out of a limited 2001 highlander that was wrecked. The seats only have 6000 miles use and have been sitting in the seller's garage for years. They were only $150 for the buckets and back bench. My kids are using the bench as a video game seat in the basement.

The driver side is power with lumbar support, but without heat. I was lucky that there was already wiring under the original drivers seat so hooking up power was a breeze. I was hoping for a drop in type situation, but these took some fabrication to get to work. I also had to remove the armrests, but I use the center console to rest my elbow anyway, so NBD. Also the drivers seat airbag deployed in the wreck so I had to sew up one seam, which you can see in the pics.

The seats sit several inches higher than stock. I am 5'10'' and this is fine, but if I were taller head room might be an issue. Overall I am pretty stoked about the upgrade, and my back and legs are already thanking me.

    thanks for the compliments!
I was not able to simply bolt in the new seats, because the feet did not match up.
I did the passenger side first. I transplanted 3 of the feet to the new seat from the original.
I got nervous about cutting the feet off the drivers side because I wanted to be able to go back to stock seat if the new seats sat too high. So for the drivers side seat I ended up cutting off the front feet of the new seat and doing some fab work to get it bolted in. That way my original drivers seat remained unmolested.
