I've done quite a bit of reading about the OME 885 coils paired with Bilstein 5100 shocks and think I've got it mostly figured out. My truck is a 2005 Double Cab TRD Off Road 4WD V6. I've compiled a list below based on what I've read and a question at the end.

    1. I'll want the shocks set to the 0 setting.

    2. I won't need to buy new UCA's.

    3. My truck will set level or close to level.

    4. The OME 885 coils provide improved off road handling.

    5. I shouldn't have any vibration problems.

*** 6. What about the top plate spacer? I couldn't figure this one out. I read some conflicting info. What does it do?

I'm going the same route as far as pairing my 5100s with 885s. But I'm also ordering some LR ucas because I've heard although the alignment may be within spec without uca, the camber wouldn't be. Also, what are you running in the back to level it out?

As far as the back goes I haven't read up on that yet. Do I need to make mods like an add-a-leaf? With out it would my truck sit higher in the front than the back. All this stuff is new to me.

You're going to want aftermarket UCAs, and your truck won't be level unless you put in a 1.5" block or AAL in the rear.

Ya nose high is what I have read if nothing done in the back. If you've done the rear tsb, I read 1.5" aal would be close to level, if no rear tsb then 2" aal would be close to level. Hopefully someone can chime in to clarify.

I've owned the truck for less than a year, don't know what the prevoius owner did about the TSB. I recently got a letter in mail from Toyota telling me the leaf springs are being recalled and to wait for a follow up letter. Don't know If this is old news TSB stuff or something new. My local Toyota dealership isn't very helpful. Seems like I need to use Google or visit online forums to find out the answers to so many things these days. Don't get me wrong, I like using the Internet to gather info, but I find talking to someone on the phone or behind the counter gets know nowhere these days.

Does your truck wander around on the road with the stock UCA's because the camber can't be set properly?

Have the exact same set up, but with stock rear. I used a 1/4inch spacer on drivers side only to correct the lean
