Would you trade a Tacoma TRD Pro for a 4Runner TRD Pro?

I have asked myself this question several times? I love my truck, but I really like the 4Runners also. I have a trailer, so a truck is not a necessity, but it is convenient to have a truck bed with you at all times.

    Just curious on everyone's thoughts.

Personally I would keep the truck (both are great vehicles). My entire life I have always had a truck, except for nine months last year. I traded my Colorado for a new Subaru Outback, which was a fantastic vehicle. My rational was I had a trailer, no I didn't need a truck anymore. Well, after nine months, I missed my truck so much, I ended up ordering a new Tacoma - couldn't be happier. I guess I am just a truck guy!

I think I am the same way. As soon as I got an suv for myself(wife has Lexus suv) I would be kicking myself.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I really like the runner myself. If it had the same towing capability as the Tacoma I would. BUT its rated at 4700.. No deal.

Good point! Forgot about that reduced towing capacity!

I have a Tacoma Pro and a friend of mine has a 4Runner Pro. I would say the 4 runner is much nicer inside and offers more room for hauling people I use the bed of the truck almost everyday. I also have a small trailer if the the bed is too small. I couldn't imagine towing a trailer around for the majority of the time when the 4Runner just won't work.

Hey Jon....one of those personal things, but if Uncle would have given me the same depreciation rate on a Runner as I get with the Taco I would have been looking real hard at the Runner! Much nicer inside than the taco and they come in Inferno! Then again, I have the 02 Tundra for if I need a truck. By adding the Snug Top I sort of have a runner (function wise) as it is. That all said, if I didn't have the Tundra I would have definitely gotten the Taco...one needs a Truck!

I took the Pro out tonight in the snow and it is great. I just can't do without a truck!
