How long should you wait before putting on that 1st coat of wax?

Mods are currently being changed .....

No need to wait. You can wax it whenever you want.

The old theory was to wait 30 days after painting. This doesnt really take into account new paint/technology or curing process'.

Even you want to wait 30 days after paint, between build time, shipping, sitting on lots, etc I'm sure you're new truck was painted more than 30 days ago.

URD SC, VBU, Spec-U headers and exhaust.

I would do a paint correction if the truck was prepped at the dealer. Then polish and seal. I opti-coated mine after paint correction.
