i have an 04 extra cab 4 banger riding on 31s it has the factory coils and struts with a revtec leveling block the struts are shot .... I've been reading up on the suspension lift threads but was wantin to get some opinions. I have an arb bumper and gettin a smittybilt winch after I do the struts. i have access to a wall mounted spring compressor to just rebuild my coils with new struts and the leveling kit. But I am open to getting new coils that are already built. What would u all do? I'm not trying to go much bigger with tires also Im aware I may need to do a diff drop and will have to add a leaf whatever opinions or advice I could get would awesome

    Hey,
I would say it depends on how much you want to spend. If it was me and i was doing the bumper and winch id spend the money and get new struts and coils up front. I got my lift from toyteclifts.com and love it. Hope this helps a little.

With the additional weight of the bumper & winch you'll likely want to go to a heavier duty coil (over stock) up front.

For stock height you can look into the OME 880 springs + 90004 Nitrocharger shocks. I don't know what other choices you have for a heavier duty spring with stock height, although with the additional weight up front perhaps the 881s would work.

I've been lookin At rancho Safari quick lift loaded struts at about 170 per side it would be cheaper than old man emu from what I've read they are adjustable so I could just level it out and get new shocks in the rear without having to add a leaf ... My leafs are in good shape has anyone had the safaris or new someone that did ?
