I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy an Ateq but I have one little concern that's been bothering me.

There are five "slots" in the ECU for TPMS sensor ID's and the Ateq makes it look like they are identified by location (RF, LF, RR, LR, Spare) and I was wondering if it actually matters which tire is where?

Since the pipe bomb method works so well, and I have heard of Toyota programming the spare incorrectly from the factory, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.

So when I get my second set of wheels, I can just write the sensor ID's down and have them mounted/balanced without needing to keep track of which sensor is in which wheel?

    Thanks!
