This is my first post to Tacoma World. I have a 2013 DCSB Sport with 28k miles. This morning driving to work the temp was -8f. I have a noise that seems to only happen only when the temp is around 10f and colder. The noise is a 'flutter' kind a noise. The noise pace changes as the engine rpm changes up and down. It seems to be coming from the drivers side of the truck...the front half of the truck. It doesn't sound metallic. Almost like something plastic flapping. I did some searches here but wasn't able to find anything. Anyone have a idea? Thanks.

same here, its driving me crazy! i feel like somethings loose underneath the hood like the plastic cover to the hood or the battery tie down, but everything is snug.

Pretty typical I hear it on my 2013 taco and my moms 07 4 runner.

Could be build up on either the intake or exhaust causing the air to swirl around and sound funny. Or someone put some playing cards in your spokes. Good luck.

Check air intake where it goes into the pass. fender, that's where I found my
    "cold weather flutter".

It's easy to check just remove the two bolts holding the air box to the pass. side fender and take box off, take truck for a ride to see if the noise is gone.
While it's off you'll notice a piece of foam around the air horn, that degrades over time allowing the horn to vibrate against the fender when its cold.
