Yo Slim,
I have some installation questions, or validations so to speak.
The three prong connection that plugs into the factory bulbs looks like it only gets used on one side to connect to the control box, is that correct? Does the other side really just hang there unused?
Secondly, the rubber surround that the stock bulbs sit in seems to be very well attached; before I go cutting I wanted to make sure that's what I'm supposed to be doing.

 

The control box only connects on one side and the other is left unplugged. I would just wrap it with electrical tape. Also, the hid bulb twists apart to put the rubber boot in between. Don't cut the boot at all. If you have any questions just let me know.

 

ok cool, any recommendations on getting the rubber off the stock bulb?

 

If I remember correctly you need to disconnect stock harness from bulb first, then pull boot off bulb to reveal the metal clamps that hold the bulb in and then unclamp the bulb.
