Hey, guys, haven't posted in a couple years probably. This is a simple question for you guys with suspension experience.

2009 TRD Sport, 4X4, manual trans, 4 Litre, totally stock suspension and wheels. I'm going to leave it that way, as it's a daily commuter. It's an on-road truck with street tires.

I want to put on some shocks that are somewhat stiffer than the stock ones, so it's more like an actual truck than a car with a bed.

    What do you recommend?

    Thanks a ton.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Bilstein 5100's set at 0". Should give you a better ride. However, if you want something a bit stiffer, you might look into a stiffer coil. Look for someone with an off-road set that they took off at early miles. Are you up in WA? If so, I think I saw a set for sale.

5100s (2.5" front), OEM Raptor wheels, 315/70/17 BFGs, Undercover, tint, Weathertechs.
Bilstein 4600s are good shocks for a stock application, as well.

Cool. I'll look at both of those. Thanks. I don't think I want to go to the hassle of changing coils. Want to keep it simple and basically stock.

Ok. Just find some take-offs. If you change the shocks, you are already taking apart the whole coil! Let me find you some take-offs from someone with an off-road...

Thanks - that may be a perfect solution. I just sent a PM to Beavis. I see you're in Auburn. I'm in Snohomish... not sure where Beavis is... we shall see!

No problem. I had to go looking through threads to remember where you posted them.
