Truck starts with remote but not key

Having some intermittent issues on truck. Truck will sometimes start then shut off a few seconds later. I had a m.a.f.s code on it so I replaced that and still having problems. Funny thing is that when this happens I can hit the remote starter and it will start and stay running. I put the key in and all good. Anyone no what's up?
08 Taco trdoffroad DC. Remote starter is a STRTNR2. Thanks for the help.

You might want to take it in to get it checked. But I'd check fuses and get the wiring checked.
