It's normal. Every vehicle I've owned made cracking/popping sounds and rode stiff when temps were well below freezing. It's always best to allow it to warm up some before moving.

My suspension is stiff as hell on cold winter days. On the milder days of winter it is still stiff.

It is amazing how much noise loose street snow makes against the underside of a Tacoma.

None of this has caused any issues for me. Had my truck new since 08.

I live about hour and half northwest from Clarksville. I can tell a difference in my truck too. Your truck is probably ok. I lived here for 36 years and this is the most snow I can remember at one time.

I live on the Tennessee/NC line, by Limestone Cove, -6 this morning, Taco did fine, normal winter noises, don't fret:)

We are getting around just fine on Unaka Mountain with studded snows all the way around and moving the 7" of snow from yesterday with 4 wheeler, we haven't even got the snowblower out yet...

My kid & his friends are loving the snow.

And yes they are sledding in a kayak. That thing hauls tail & you steer it with the paddle.

my parents retired to Knoxville and when we recently received 12" of snow here in Indiana my mom was calling to make sure that everyone was okay, Dad was in the background "trying to get a word in" asking if I'd gone out wheeling yet! Mom has in 5 years completely forgot what snow is like.

Of course I was excited to head out and find a place the truck couldn't go... FYI, that day I did not find such a place!

Yeah I believe that's South Carolina last year. I hope this year they have at least one sander.
We complain about snow but we are prepared. This guys are not.:D
That's second winter south is getting hammered. I guess 4x4s just went up in price again.
