I've had problems with the door lock actuator motors on 3 of my 4 doors. I resolved this problem by taking the door actuators apart then disassembling the motor. I clean the dirty contact in the motor with alcohol then reassemble. But on this last door I put the door actuator back together and it must have been in the locked position, put everything back except interior door panel. Now my door is stuck shut. Pulling down on actuator linkage does not help nor does using either inner or outer handles. Any help would be appreciated. OBTW the electrical actuator works now.

There is a rod that is connected on the actuator itself. If it's not connected neither handle will work. Not sure which yr you have but ck that rod first.

Can you hear the actuator trying to do something?

Yes, I can hear it. It sounds normal and moves up and down normal.

Fixed it. Put solid pressure on door from inside while actuating interior door open/close switch. Door finally came open. There was a spring inside the door actuator that wasn't fully secured. If you ever remove your door actuator manually activate for proper operation out side the truck prior to installing.
