I spent the last 2 hours pouring over TC looking at skid plates. Many that I found including some really good links only seemed to fit 05+.

What are you guys running in place of the factory "splash guard"?

I would really like something better to protect the front as I am literally off road everyday on the logging site. Not really picky about material, just want something better than stock.

Pics of your set up would be good to!

    thanks,

Yup, bud builts are pretty much a standard. Only tip is to either mimic their layout when building your own if you have the skills/friends, or at least have some angle iron welded in on the 'bash' part to keep i from bending over time/big hits. Definitely add the 'ribs' on the belly skid if you get that too.

Looking good guys! Now I want an off-road bumper too! Does the budbuilt fit with a stock bumper? I also plan on ordering a full OME kit soon and assume this doesn't make a difference in fitment.

I need all the protection for my undercarriage, you wouldn't believe the stuff I have to navigate on a daily basis.

You do not have to have an aftermarket bumper. The budbuilts mount to the stock locations.

A guy on here makes them too. R.A.T. is his company name, I forgot his username it's ISU something. I have one and the thing is pretty beefy, I got the 3/16" steel one.

Yeah I was bummed to hear that he's no longer making them. He lived less than an hour away! He really had a good thing going. Not sure what happened there?
