2013 Reg Cab 4x4 Shift Knob Problems

    Hello Everyone

    I have a Reg Cab 2013 5 speed 4x4 and am having issues with aftermarket shift knobs. I have ordered 2 different knobs from 2 different companies both in the 12x1.25.

    Both times the Jam Nut and the Reducer have not freely screwed on to the shifter. It's super tight and I can get 2 full turns at the most.

    What's even more confusing is the shifter that's on car the that I'm trying to replace is oem. Did they change the pitch or thread for 2013 Models? Thanks.
