Hello people, introducing myself, my name is Jose Gerardo Leal, will go by Jerry, I live in Auburn Hills (Metro Detroit), Michigan, was hired to work here for Chrysler as a chassis component engineer a year ago, I am Mexican and used to live in Monterrey and no, I am not illegal haha.

I am an engineer(major in mechanical and electrical engineering with a minor in automotive engineering), graduated in Dec 2011 from Monterrey Tech Institute. Worked for Navistar International Truck Company from Jan 12 to Jan 14 as a frame engineer and now i'm working for Chrysler as a chassis engineer. I am an Auto Technician too.

Joined the forum some weeks ago, but have been reading it as a visitor since 2011 or so, proud and happy owner of my third Tacoma. 2015 TRD OR 4WD V6 AT SB Magnetic Gray Metallic. Installed Ebay sidesteps on it and LT265/75R16 Toyo Open Country AT2's.

    Previous ones were:
-1996 Green SR5 4WD V6 MT Access Cab, bought it in 2009 with 200k-ish miles on it, young brother owns it now, still running, needs some maintenance and attention here and there, but still good for the adventure. Installed 2" lift front spacers and AAL in the rear and 31x10.5 R15 BFG MT KM2, used it for any outdoor activity down there from 09-12.

-2010 Silver TRD Sport 4WD V6 AT DC SB, bought it in 2012 pre-owned in a like-new condition with 16k-ish miles on it. Was my daily driver, 2" lift spacers front and 2" lift AAL rear, 275/65R17 Toyo Open Country AT, Ebay Side steps, Nfab light bar, Yellow wire mod, In-cab 110v outlet, WeatherTechs, K&N Air Filter, Charcoal filter off, and lots of the free/cheap mods. I drove this one all the way from Monterrey, Mexico to Detroit when hired and drove it down home for the holidays(1800 miles each way), dad owns it now.

Hope we can share some good times and I came here to learn from you guys in the first place, and then try to share my life experiences to whom they could be useful.

PS: I'm up for any outdoorsy activity.
