I have been derping around the RTT BS thread for a while now and decided to purchase an anti-condensation mat for the tent. I found a lot of good links in the RTT BS thread for some inexpensive options but the shipping (I believe most of them were from the UK) would have been killer. So, I turned my search to TEPUI and CVT. First, I contact BoxRocket for a quote with TW member pricing and it was a little high  (came out to $103.50 + shipping). Then I reached out to Robert at CVT, who helped answer all my questions I had about repairing my tent when it got damaged through shipping. I provided the measurements of the tent floor (96" x 56") and he directed me to the Mt. Shasta or Mt. Bachelor mat from their website LINK. I was quoted $69.50 shipped to my door with the TW discount (I believe). I sent the payment via PayPal Tuesday afternoon and received my mat Saturday at noon. Very fast shipping and great customer service from Robert at CVT.

Hope this helps anyone looking to do the same and unsure where to start. Unfortunately I wasted my whole weekend waiting on hold with Microsoft trying to fix my parent's computer. If I find some time this weekend, I will post pics and test fit it if I can.

Thanks for looking into this for us all. I know you probably shouldn't throw the TW discount code out on the forum, but can you provide Robert's contact info so I can contact him? I want to get one of these mats too.

Also, I sent an email around to everyone in the GB, but to those wondering, I think I found the answers to my questions.

    1) the extra black straps are apparently to help get in and out of the tent, like a rope to pull on I guess.

    2) the 4 self-tapping screws go in the ends of the mounting rails to stop vibes, which I can hear from in the truck sometimes, so I'll be putting them in soon.

    3) last, don't mount too close to the cab b/c the poles for the window awnings need some space to clear the roof. It might be easier to just get it up there and figure out how much room you need, then snug the bolts on the mounting plates down.

If you have a short bed, how does the tent line up with the tailgate after scooting the tent back enough for the window poles? Is there an overhang or does the tent footprint still fit in the bed?

I have a short bed and its fine. No overhang. I just wanted it as close to the cab as possible and didn't realize until after everything was tightened down that I needed some room for one tent pole to get over the cab. I almost thought about just cutting one pole down, but thought long term that would be stupid to do and would really pin myself in a corner.

+1 mine fits perfectly with in the foot print of the bed, no clearance issues.

I will not be doing another, I just do not have the free time. I strongly suggest getting on the 2015 CVT group buy. Won't be as cheap but tons more options to get what you want and you will still get a great deal.

I posted how one could do this themselves, but it's no easy task.
