I picked up a bumper for my truck and had an idea for turn signals since the stock location isn't an option anymore. I want to use 2 ( maybe 4) of these COB led lights.

I want to mount them on the angled tubes and possibly the main tubes as well.

My biggest question is how do I make it so they don't blink too fast, what size resistor or should I use an LED flasher? They are 6 watt 12v LED's.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

HID's, LED Dash swap, LED reverse lights, 15"x10" 5 slot mags, sliding rear window, 20gal aux. DS fuel tank,
You can pick up the typical load resistor all over.. Should work just fine.

You could also pick up an adjustable led flasher from superbrightleds.com and tune the flashing to your preferences.

I can't help with the wiring, but if it falls through you can put your stock turn signals in the corner lights. What bumper did you get?

Oh I didn't know they have 'adjustable' ones!:)

Or to make it really simple, auto store carried a generic led flasher that I popped in and done. Only thing with that though, which isn't a biggie for me, is the flasher sometimes doesn't cancel out properly so when you activate it again it'll flash quickly the first time then continue flashing normally.

The adjustable ones just have a knob to speed up or slowdown the cycle... Most likely a potentiometer adjusting the resistance in an RC circuit.

Ignore the red wire, that was just so i could get them to light up for right now. Can't find a resistor locally so I'm going to order them soon.

I can't decide if I like them there or not though

I would think it would look better on the bottom of the top tube.

Where does that bumper mount to?

2 bolts where the stock skids go, 2 bolts on the front of the frame rails and 2 bolts on the sides of the frame rails where the stock bumper mounted to.
