I know it goes against TW logic that every taco should be running a lift with bigger and wider tires(on black rims of course!). But being 100% honest with myself, even though my truck is 4x4, it rarely leaves the pavement. So I'm considering going with stockish size A/T's as replacements when the time comes.

So how many people stuck with 245/75r16 tires after their Dumbflops wore out? If so, post up pics of your trucks.

My priorities from highest to lowest.
Excellent winter traction without going to dedicated snow/studded tire.

I'll even consider going with 265/70r16.

I am in the same boat. I'm trying to be as practical as possible. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out which size to get. I'm leaning towards 265/70/16, Hankook Dynapro ATM.

I put Michelin LTX M/S 2s on my 1st Gen in P245/75R16 and couldn't be happier. I get about 2mpg better than the original P265 tires I had. They handle the snow and ice and light mud/slick ground good enough for me. I will be putting a set of these on the wife's 4th Gen 4Runner soon too.

I went with toyo open country AT P245/75/16 on my precious taco and my 2012 also. Got 56k on the first set and prob had 10k left on them!! They go great in snow and ice and anything else I've took them in really. I'd highly recommend them. Plus there a good prices tire
