I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but is there a way to replace the heater core in a 4Runner with out taking the whole dashboard off, can i just fix it by taking the glove box out?

I have no idea how someone could do it through the glove box. When I did the heater core on my Tacoma I removed the entire dash. I was able to get rid of a couple of rattles and clean up some of the messed up wiring from previous owners while in there. It is time consuming but not bad. Usually if something won't come off with normal force it means you forgot a screw or clip so take you time and dont just rip things off. You could just create more rattles that way. http://www.yotatech.com/f116/writeup-89-94-heater-core-replacement-124222/

Nope. Highball is correct. You'll have to pull the dash, and the reinforcement bar. Not to difficult take your time and lots of notes. Good Luck.
