    i have a set of Goodyear Dura Tracs 265 70 17 c rating on my 08 Tacoma
and was wondering what air pressure is best for winter driving . lots of ice and snow on the roads around here. the tire shop had them set at 38 psi (summer) and was thinking if i should lower them to 30 - 32 psi ?

I have mine set at 35psi right now. Cooper ATP's 265/75/R16. With the cold weather they dropped to around 26psi so I bumped it back to 35Psi. I have 200# of sand in the bed and 4wd also. Also higher PSI usually means a choppier ride. I like leaving mine higher just to squeeze some more MPG's out of it. Just me, hope this helps

I'd run them around 30psi. It will give you a bigger footprint which will help with traction. Just my two cents
