    Hi all,

I'm interested in getting some Hertz HCX 690 in the front of my 2010 Tacoma. The speakers have a mounting depth of 3.41" (86.5mm) and I'm wondering if they will fit since *********.com seems to say that the depth limit is 3.25" for the front doors. If they won't fit, I'm probably going to go with the ECX 690 (only 3.11" deep) but I'd rather stick with the better speaker since it fits my budget.

Note that I'm a first timer at car audio, so this might be a trivial question.

    Thanks,

The spacers you'll need should get you plenty of clearance. I have speakers that are 3.2 and I had some wiggle room. I think you'll be ok but it will be close. Best thing to do is take it apart and measure. You can build your own adapters too.
