New to the forum... But not to Tacomas!

What's up everybody? Thought I would finally register for the site after lurking for close to 8 years! My name is Alex and I'm from North Georgia. I work for the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest as GIS Specialist/Wildland Firefighter/Timber Marker/Grunt. I used to do a little wheeling but keep it mild nowadays... Still have a longtime to go before my truck is paid off!!!

I just purchased my first new vehicle, a 2015 TRD Sport DCSB and I am loving it so far. I haven't done much to her yet, just added some used 265/70 Fierce MTs off of Craigslist and blacked out the emblems. But I think new wheels and a lift are on the short list.

This is my second Tacoma... The first recently met it's demise thanks to a woman who tried to make a turn across my lane and failed to yield to oncoming traffic (me)! First Yota was a 2002 SR5 DCSB, lifted, on 33" black steelies, and an ARE Z series camper top on the back. I drove it from Aug 2006 to Feb 2014 and I loved that truck!!! Still miss her even with a brand new one sitting in the driveway!

I'm still arguing with the insurance company on what she was worth but I pulled most of the goodies that I could and will most likely start a for sale thread after this.

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself and say thanks for everything I've picked up lurking over the years. Look forward to sharing the progress of my new Tacoma with yall.
