In the middle of a rear shock install need some help

    I bought some king remote reservoir extended travel rear shocks the reservoir is mounted I mounted the top bolt and I'm having a hell of a time compressing the bottom of the shock to get it into the bottom bracket. any suggestions??

    few suggestions: hit the gym, get a friend who hits the gym, use a jack, use a crow bar

    Toytec Coilovers, Total Chaos uca's, Wheelers aal+Bilstein 5160's. 285/70/17's, Method Double Standards. Magnaflow exhaust, GrilleCraft grille, Allpro bumper,diff breather relocate, yellow wire mod, oil catch can, weathertechs.
    Floor jack and small pry bar. They can be hard to compress sometimes.

    full droop should be pretty close to max extension of the shock.

    Hell its probably further than the lenght of the shock. Should be able to do full droop, bolt the top in, then jack the axle up to meet the shock.

    though extended travel....

    OP do you have compressed and collapsed lengths on the shocks? cus you might be fully collapsing the shocks before hitting your bump... which is BAD

    Finally got it in used a jack and a hammer what a pain in the ass. I'm not exaclty sure on all the specs of the shocks I ordered a package from DSM for front and rear both front and back are ext travel

    Well that was taken when I still had the rear end jacked up I measured the shocks travel once the tire was on and I have 5 and a quarter inches of travel till it would be bottomed out. And I measured the length before I put it in and it was 8in
