The plastic you see up front is for a bit of a leak I can't seem to cure, but I'm not too worried. I also have a mattress that fits perfectly. I think it was called a 3/4 (as opposed to full) size. It's right around 72"x50" or there about. Also, if I switch the hinges on the lid which flips toward the cab so that it flips toward the tailgate, I can prop it up and (with the mattress) it makes a pretty comfy couch for lounging.

What Is your cap? Cab high, mid rise or more? Thanks. Planning on doing something simil.ar with a mid rise cap from leer

 

I'd guess mid rise?? I traded it for a white one with slightly less rise a couple years ago. At this level, I can sit up without hitting my head. I'm 5'7". I have an "L" shape swap out option that I made where my cooler slides in on the driver side. With the cooler removed, it allows me to put my feet down to the truck bed so I'm in a true seated position. I use it in the fall when I'm sleeping in my truck a lot for hunting season. This is the more aesthetic version, or I like to call it the 2 person model. Hasn't seen two people in awhile though...

That's not bad. Any affect to gas mileage?

I originally installed the winch for my tree service. I use it to control the fall of trees that could hit houses if they go the wrong way.

Vehicle recovery is a bonus!
