This is a great upgrade for those of us who live in a wetter climate or just like having modern options in your truck. I got mine off e-bay for $50, shipped. It came from an '08 Camry.

Here's my quick & easy install.

Tools needed: 1 Phillips Head Screwdriver, 1 SMALL Flat Head screwdriver.

(1)&(2): Unscrew 2 phillips head screws

(3): Undo the tilt mechanism, and pull the wheel towards you. Reach back behind the column and gently lift the cover apart. NO AGGRESSION!!! The cover should come apart with some fiddling. Put the top aside and let the bottom hang on the tilt lever.

    (4): Should look like this.

(5): Locate the 2 connectors at the bottom of the wiper arm. Pic is for reference. Push in the thin tabs and pull to remove. Replace with connectors already on the steering column.

    (6):

(7): This part was slightly tricky, but easy. Locate the tab holding the wiper arm to the column.

(8): Using the little Flat head, lift the tab to separate the 2 spd. arm, should just pull out after tab disconnect.

(9): It should look just like it did when you started, just with a better wiper control arm.

(10):Reverse order all the things you just did. Make sure both connectors are connected, all 3 tabs are secure, the top and bottom of the cover are rejoined, and put back both Phillips Head screws.

Congratulations, you just upgraded your wiper control!:D
If I missed anything, please ask or point it out.

I thought you might have missed something....

LOL,great write up, and it is the first mod I did on my truck also. I was going to PM you about what it looks like in the bag in that console, then I saw you are in WA......I guess it doesn't really matter. LOL Now I'm just jealous.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Hopefully, I'll get to test it out here, shortly. Yeah, just a bag full of quarters... :)

5 months later, and I'm very happy I did this install! Thank goodness for the ease of Toyota's interchangeable plug & play parts!
