I'm new to TW. I have a 99 tacoma with a 2RZ motor i recently broke my knock sensor (accidentally) and the clip. I have since replaced the sensor twice and the clip I am still getting a P0325 code and I am not sure where to go from there. I am open to any suggestions I have posted on other forums and received no replies it has become very irritating.

I would look at the wires to the sensor. A multi meter and a wire diagram are the tools you will need. I would also suspect the connection at the wire connector to the sensor(clip).

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Did you unplug the battery to reset the ecm?

did you solder your wire connections? a loose or dirty connection will throw a CEL

also it might have a bad section of wire at the end so replace the last part near the plug

I soldered the wire to the connector yes. I am beginning to believe that it is a bad wire.

would an ugly solder job cause no communication even if it shows i have continuity all the way through? I've measure it all the way down to 2k and i still get 0 resistance

if you had a problem with the wire it would show high resistance or no continuity so it sounds like the wires are ok.

did you replace with brand new knock sensors and use an oem brand knock sensor?

if its cheap aftermarket brand I would try a genuine oem knock sensor before going any further.

some aftermarket sensors for our trucks are cheap crap that doesn't work right or last very long so you have to watch what you are buying and not just grab what they have at the local parts store.

if its not the sensor I would wonder if something connected to the sensor got shorted out when you damaged it, maybe the ecm, but at this point you should get the service manual and run through the test procedures found in there.
