Need some cosmetic thoughts.........

My '13 is a base AC, white. The function it provides for me is perfect so far; it's specifically what I was shopping for (color and options).

The only thing I don't care for is the dark grill. The bumpers are fine black; will make for easier refinishing as the years wear on.

But the grill makes the truck look too nose heavy for me. Also, every base truck around that's in service for commercial use looks just the same. City, county, utilities, etc, regardless of marquee.

So I'd like to tinker with the grill to give a bit different look.

1) I'd consider one of those mesh type centers that I've seen around here. (Grillcraft? Other?) it can be black.

2) If I do the above, I think I'd like a 'Toyota' in the grill, in white. Sort of like old Land Cruisers? Maybe FJ? Small-ish, something scaled to the size of the truck. (I dislike the Raptor sized lettering, so please don't recommend that)

3) So that leaves us with the grill surround. I know there are chrome ones that came on models that had the painted front bumper and chrome rear bumper. And I could have the existing surround painted white, just to blend it in to the body more.

So here are my real questions............

Does anyone have any pictures of such a combo? Either a white or chrome surround, white truck, black bumper?

Would I be lucky enough that someone has pics of the above with some form of grill insert and logo like I described?

What are the options for the grill insert, in terms of brands and sources?

And where is a good place to source the emblem. Used is fine as long as it's in great shape.

No pics, but you can do a satoshi, buy a grill from Homer already setup, or do a Grillcraft. I'd think a color matched would look better than chrome would with a black bumper cover, especially tied together with that old school Toyota center logo.

Emblems can be found on eBay, as can color matched OEM grills, around $175.
